Harbour Healthcare is seeking an experienced and organised Care Home Administrator to join our friendly team at Brockwell Court Care Home in Consett..

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support., + Processing payroll information using the Careblox system.
+ Maintaining accurate employee and resident records, ensuring compliance at all times.
+ Monitoring and updating compliance systems, including NMDS and training platforms.
+ Supporting recruitment activities, including application processing, pre-employment checks, onboarding, and training administration.
+ Managing filing systems and maintaining confidential records.
+ Answering telephone enquiries and liaising with residents, relatives, professionals, and external agencies.
+ Taking accurate minutes at meetings.
+ Preparing correspondence, reports, letters, and emails.
+ Ensuring compliance with GDPR and company policies.
+ Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Home Manager and wider management team.

To be successful in this role, you will have previous administrative experience and demonstrate:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Confidence using Microsoft Office applications
Experience working with office equipment and administrative systems
A professional and friendly approach
The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
A proactive, resourceful, and problem-solving mindset
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
