We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Worcestershire to assist with the appointment of an Administrator, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration., The Administrator will assist the Children's Services Commissioning Hub in meeting its statutory obligations and providing timely and effective services to children, young people, their families and carers. The role will provide a range of administrative and business support activities to support the needs of Children's Social Care, including data management, document preparation, meeting support, handling enquiries and liaising with partner organisations and agencies.

Responsibilities:

Undertake a range of administrative activities to support the Business Support function and the business needs of Children's Social Care.

Support activities that enable service users to access services effectively and partner organisations and agencies to be fully engaged in delivering services.

Progress specific projects and tasks delegated by the Business Support Manager.

Collate and present data relating to service activities.

Support service projects and tasks, including research and collation of information.

Draft and prepare documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Educated to NVQ Level 2 in a relevant subject or equivalent.

Essentials:

Demonstrable experience of working in children's social care or a similar environment.

Considerable experience in administration.

Demonstrable computing experience, particularly using Microsoft Office software, including spreadsheets and databases.

Experience of office systems, including producing correspondence and reports, filing, arranging and minuting meetings, handling enquiries and diary management.

Experience of document copying and scanning, maintaining records and setting up and using IT equipment.
