We're looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Administrator to join our team and support the smooth day-to-day running of the college. The Role As an Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the college, helping to ensure systems and processes run efficiently and effectively. You'll be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including managing records, supporting colleagues and maintaining organised systems, alongside providing a professional reception and enquiry service. You'll work closely with the Senior Administrator and wider team to deliver a consistent, reliable and high-quality administrative service across the college. What You'll Be Doing
- Providing a warm, professional reception service, welcoming visitors and ensuring sign-in procedures are followed
- Answering and managing phone calls and enquiries, ensuring they are directed and handled appropriately
- Performing general admin tasks including filing, data entry, document preparation, minute taking, and maintaining records
- Managing incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and internal correspondence
- Maintaining accurate filing and archiving systems, ensuring information is stored securely
- Supporting colleagues across the college with administrative tasks to help ensure everything runs smoothly
- Monitoring stationery and office supplies About You We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable and takes pride in delivering a high standard of work. You will have:
- A good level of numeracy and literacy (at least 5 GCSEs above C to include English and Maths)
- Demonstratable experience working in an administrative role for at least 1 year
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to learn new systems
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A professional, reliable and confidential approach
- A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle, due to our location How to apply?
