Full Job Description
To provide a welcoming and polite reception to patients, relatives and carers from the main reception desk of Leri Cancer Unit. Leri Cancer Unit comprises of a treatment area delivering chemotherapy and Systemic anti cancer therapies and an outpatient clinic area. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the chemotherapy unit and outpatient clinics as described in the detailed job description., You will be able to find a full job description and person specification attached within the supporting documents.
This role requires a motivated candidate with excellent communication skills, computer literacy and willingness to learn. Previous experience in an administrative role would be welcomed, however, full training will be provided. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply., The Health Board is committed to supporting its staff to fully embrace the need for bilingualism thereby enhancing patient and service userexperiences. - Level 3 qualification (e.g. A Levels, AS Levels, NVQ3) or equivalent demonstrable experience of administrative / office skills and knowledge Desirable
- Knowledge of Medical/Healthcare Terminology Experience Essential
- Experience of working in an administrative / office environment
- Familiar and competent with Microsoft IT packages, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
