Administrative Officer

North Lincolnshire Council

Public Health is the system lead for identifying actual and potential health need and developing strategic solutions to promote wellbeing, prevent ill-health and improve outcomes for those experiencing health and wellbeing challenges, through evidence-based practice.

The Public Health Team in North Lincolnshire Council are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated individual to support with administrative duties. We have a diverse range of responsibilities and therefore the role will be interesting and varied. The successful candidate will predominately be supporting the administrative duties for the infant feeding team but may be expected to perform administrative tasks for the wider public health team if required.

We are looking for someone who will be able to demonstrate they have:

  • Good organisational skills
  • Knowledge and experience of monitoring budgets
  • IBT2 qualification or equivalent
  • Good IT skills with experience of using computer programmes such as word, excel, publisher and PowerPoint including knowledge and use of spreadsheet design and operation.
  • Experience of providing finance reports
  • An understanding of external bid and funding processes
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Previous experience of taking minutes
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Experience of organising meetings including liaising with the chair to send out invites and agendas.
