Full Job Description

Netflix is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support two Directors in the Global Affairs specialists team - covering policy on issues including AI, IP, industry and content regulation. The role will be responsible for handling a heavy volume of organizing meetings, calendars and travel, but also includes supporting managing the team's shared activities, including organising and coordinating team meetings, facilitating information exchange among team members and ensuring effective communication channels within the team. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with an unwavering attention to detail at all times. A high level of organization and interest in working across multiple areas of the business is a must. We need someone who can not only be great in their day-to-day work, but can identify opportunities to make the overall team more organized and efficient. Someone who is curious, demonstrates significant initiative, and inherently exercises good judgment will be most successful in this role. This position is based in the London or Amsterdam office. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage complex calendars for multiple executives including booking and confirming meetings
  • Schedule meetings, internally and externally
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including preparing itineraries including external meetings, and securing visas
  • Administrative duties around processing travel and expense reports in Workday
  • Heavy communication internally and externally
  • Maintain logs to track projects and their status
  • Organize and execute stakeholder events such as screenings, panels, presentations, while liaising with event agencies, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders
  • Keeping track of team budgetary allocation and expenditure

    High level of precision and detail in execution
  • Aspiration to excellence and to be creative in helping the team beyond core tasks
  • Preferable to have experience supporting policy and government affairs executives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to adapt work approach across diverse cultures and time zones
  • Previous experience working in an international environment is a plus
  • Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
  • Team-player and ally who operates in a fast-paced team-oriented setting
  • Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
  • High level of pro-activity and ownership of tasks at hand
  • Proficiency in Google Mail & Apps (like marketing tools to send out newsletters/invitations)
