Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly professional and dedicated full-time Admin Assistant/Receptionist to provide critical administrative support that directly contributes to the smooth delivery of our vital mental health services. This post will be 37.5 hours per week (9am to 5pm Monday-Friday) with no working from home. This is an opportunity to utilise your organisational ability., The main duties will be

  • Managing external telephone calls and providing reception cover at the front of house, ensuring a welcoming and reassuring first impression.
  • Delivering responsive administrative support directly to the clinical team, enabling them to focus fully on client care.
  • Accurately typing letters and managing the efficient booking of appointments to ensure clients receive timely access to services.

    The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with colleagues and clients in a friendly, polite manner. Previous relevant experience in a busy community setting would be an advantage., Essential
  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent
  • Educated to NVQ level 2 /RSA 2 or equivalent
  • Experience, Knowledge and Skills Essential
  • Previous Telephone Experience
  • Microsoft Office Knowledge
  • Previous Office/Reception Experience
  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Desirable
  • Use of Video Conferencing
  • Previous experience of working within NHS
  • Person Specification Qualifications Essential
