Full Job Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our Adult Mental Health Services based in Market Drayton. The Service offers mental health care and treatment across a variety of different age ranges and presentation. The role would require you to work 30 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), fixed hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm
In the role you will be working as part of a team along with Administrative Assistants and Medical and Clinical Administrators. You will be expected to be able to use your own initiative and judgement, although you will be well supported by other Mental Health Admin staff and through the clinical and professional networks accessible through the community teams.
The administration offices are busy, and the role is challenging but it is also rewarding where you will be carrying out duties such as updating patient admin system (RiO), filing, photocopying and scanning. You will also be required to manage and deal with calls from service users, families, carers, and other professionals.
If you would like to chat in more detail about the position, please contact Sian Wallis: [email protected], + To accurately maintain and keep secure patient health and staff records/systems in line with policy and standard operating procedure, to ensure data quality, confidentiality and compliance with the current Data Protection Law.
+ Maintain strict confidentiality regarding information concerning patients, staff and sensitive Trust Business at all times.
+ To carry out reception duties including meeting and greeting service users, carers, relatives and visitors, as requested by the Admin Support Supervisor and/or the Admin Team Leader.
+ Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a polite and efficient manner. Receive and deal with telephone enquiries referring telephone queries to a more senior colleague where appropriate. Taking accurate messages and passing them to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
+ Type a range of documents including emailed requests, copy typing and audio transcription (via T-Pro digital dictation system) generated by the mental health pathway teams.
+ Prioritise own workload and meet deadlines in order to meet the requirements of the post.
