Full Job Description
The post holder will assist in providing comprehensive reception duties in the physiotherapy department which includes hydrotherapy, hand therapy, plaster room, and the pain rehabilitation service, The post holder will be attending to patients and referrers to the service, both in person and on the telephone in a prompt and courteous manner at all times, and be a worthy front-line representative of the high quality physiotherapy service. The outpatient physiotherapy department is a well-established, friendly, highly motivated and enthusiastic team, led by experienced clinical specialists. Within the physiotherapy department you will form part of a large team of physiotherapists. We have world-class reputation for teaching and research. We provide a wide range of general and specialist services and play a central role in the local community. Being based in the city of Oxford, means we are easy to reach and have excellent access to London.,
- To assist in providing comprehensive reception duties in the physiotherapy department, hydrotherapy, hand therapy, plaster room and pain rehabilitation services.
- To attend to patients and referrers to the service, both in person and on the telephone, promptly and courteously.
- To be a worthy front-line representative of the high-quality physiotherapy service.
- To participate in the development of the OUH NHS Trust I.T. systems., The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
