Administration Officer - Occupational Therapy Team
Role Responsibility
An opportunity has arisen for a full time motivated and committed Administration Officer to join the Countywide Disabled Children & Young People's Occupational Therapy Service.
Kent County Council offers a hybrid working model with a combination of home and office working. The post will be based in The Rainbow Centre, Ashford.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to the Occupational Therapy Team. You will need to be highly organised and able to manage competing claims on your time. You will have good office skills, a good knowledge of computer systems and be confident working with databases and spreadsheets. Support from team members and formal supervision will be provided.
You will need to be confident and professional when dealing with enquiries from members of the public, including responding to duty queries by telephone and through a shared email inbox.
This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
This post is considered by Kent County Council to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
