Full Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and organisedAdministrative Support Assistantto join ourIndependent Living Centre Team. This is a part-time role providing essential day-to-day administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the service. Ø Responsible for ensuring all correspondence is presented accurately and appropriately using Trust and departmental procedures and medical terminology used by the clinical staff. Ø To be skilled and experienced in the full range of administration work practices, software programmes and specialised functional terms. Ø To be proficient with the knowledge of Patient Records management supporting new users and instructing them as necessary. To use the knowledge and experience to meet the needs of the clinical teams by completing non-routine tasks on a daily basis. Ø To update skills as necessary and attend mandatory training and maintain records as per Trust policy. Valuing you. Recognising your dedication. At EPUT, we look after you.

  • Updating and maintaining patient information accurately
  • Ordering and monitoring stationery and office supplies
  • Answering telephone enquiries and responding to emails
  • Supporting clinicians and service staff with administrative tasks as required

    Previous experience in an administrative role (healthcare setting desirable but not essential)
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage confidential information appropriately
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
