  • Provide administrative support to the programme leadership team
  • Manage calendars, schedules, and meeting coordination for senior stakeholders
  • Organise internal and external meetings, including logistics, agendas, room bookings, and catering
  • Prepare meeting packs, presentations, and supporting documentation where required
  • Act as a central coordination point across programme teams and delivery partners
  • Support communication and information flow across the wider programme
  • Maintain accurate records, action trackers, and distribution lists
  • Organise face-to-face team events, workshops, away days, and leadership meetings
  • Coordinate venues, travel arrangements, catering, and event logistics
  • Support team engagement and collaboration activities across hybrid teams
  • Assist with document management and filing within programme systems
  • Ensure meetings and programme activities are delivered efficiently and professionally

    Binnies an RSK Group company is recruiting an Administration Assistant for our Water Services Major Projects Business Unit. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects in the water industry. The primary purpose of the role is to provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support across a fast-paced, multidisciplinary programme environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of leadership activities, team coordination, meetings, and events.
  • The Major Projects business unit currently contains exciting projects such as Thames Water's White Horse Reservoir and Thames to Southern Transfer. Successful applicants will be able to work flexibly from one of our offices. The ability to travel to Client and Binnies offices is essential. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and confident working with senior stakeholders across a complex programme. You should possess and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and knowledge: Key Skills & Experience Essential
  • Previous experience in an Administrative Assistant, Team Coordinator, or Executive Assistant role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident supporting senior stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Desirable
  • Experience working within infrastructure, engineering, utilities, or project environments
  • Experience supporting large programmes or multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with hybrid working coordination and event planning, Familiarity with Microsoft office programmes to complete tasks - in particular Microsoft Excel
  • Logical and, well organised and able to manage own workload and prioritise
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to accurately follow systems and procedures with minimal support (once trained)
