Full Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a SEN Support Administrator to join our wonderful team of dedicated and experienced professionals to continue to build on our proven successes in meeting the needs of children and young people with special educational needs. The job role will involve:

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to SEN Officers, SEND Team Leader, Head of Service and the wider SEND team.
  • Maintaining accurate records on SEND databases and case management systems.
  • Processing incoming correspondence, reports and assessments relating to EHC needs assessments and EHCPs.
  • Maintaining confidential records in accordance with GDPR and Local Authority policies.
  • Assisting with Tribunal and mediation administration, including collation of relevant documentation.
  • Contributing to service improvement initiatives and administrative processes., This post is subject to safer recruitment measures, including an enhanced DBS with a barring list check for Children

  • Be approachable, friendly, flexible and helpful
  • Experience of working in an administrative function role and use of data systems
  • Have clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate IT skills and the use of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Able to set up meetings and events and prepare agendas and minutes.
