Full Job Description

Theatres are looking to employ a full time clerical administration assistant to support the General Manager / Matron and Band 7's The successful candidate will join a vibrant, diverse and motivated multi disciplinary team. The post briefly involves the day to day administration including producing documents of a confidential nature, producing audit data / reports etc. Managing our theatre allocations by updating hourly due to changes to schedules. Governance and performance support producing advanced analytics reports. The successful candidate will also be required to support our procurement lead within the department., We wish to appoint an administration staff member, on a permanent full time basis. You will Undertake collection of theatre data for various platforms including at national level. Support colleagues and clinicians as required in timely data reporting and preparing information for meetings in order to ensure effective participation. Secretarial support to several team members including theatre manager, matron and Band 7's, The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

  • Please note that the salary advertised is for full time hours. If this post is less than 37.5 hours per week, the salary will be pro-rata. For posts on Agenda for Change pay-scales, new entrants to the NHS will normally commence on the first pay point of the relevant band.
