Full Job Description

This role involves assessing adults for ADHD, considering other conditions to make accurate diagnostic decisions. You will use your clinical expertise to determine and initiate treatments for ADHD., o Provide comprehensive expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of Adults with ADHD across the RDASH localities. Review with others the assessment and monitoring of adults identified with ADHD.

o Provide direct nursing judgement and treatment interventions based on skills and knowledge regarding clinical management and educational management of adults with ADHD

o Exercise Independent prescribing rights using guidelines and protocols

o Ensure that the patient's interests are fully considered within the context of care, actively participating in ethical decision making within the multi-disciplinary team.

o Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge of patients.

o To undertake risk assessments and risk management for individuals and their families.

o To maintain up to date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies and issues in relation to ADHD.

o To provide high quality support and advice to health and other professionals

o To supervise the implementation and monitoring of new developments in ADHD.
