Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join the Adult ADHD Service at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery and development of a specialist service supporting adults through the ADHD diagnostic and treatment pathway. Working under the supervision of our psychological lead and operational team manager, the post holder will support the planning and administration of the ADHD diagnostic pathway. The role involves contributing to psychoeducation workshops, supporting clinical audits and service evaluation projects, and assisting with data collection and analysis to inform service improvement. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to high-quality, patient-centred care. They will also play a role in developing workshop materials, supporting outreach initiatives, and ensuring accurate clinical record-keeping and communication with patients and referrers. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a specialist mental health service, develop clinical and research skills, and contribute to service development within a supportive and values-driven organisation.Main duties of the job

  • Support the coordination and administration of the Adult ADHD diagnostic pathway
  • Assist in planning and delivering psychoeducation workshops
  • Contribute to clinical audits, service evaluation, and data collection
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate with patients and referrers
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to support high-quality patient care
  • Assist in developing patient information materials and workshop resources
  • Contribute to service improvement and development project
  • Screen ADHD Referrals
