Achieve Treatment and Recovery Services provides support for people experiencing problems with drug and alcohol use across Salford, Trafford and Bury., We are seeking to recruit an Addictions Clinical Nurse who will deliver specialist support to our patients accessing treatment at our services across Achieve Salford, Trafford and Bury. This is a unique post and the successful candidate will work across all our sites. The successful candidate will provide a range of clinical interventions, including detox interventions, blood borne virus screening, vaccinations, administering long-acting injectable opiate medications, and a range of physical health investigations.

  • Has experience of assessing, planning and delivering clinical care, Has experience of working in addictions services
  • Has experience of delivering alcohol and opiate detoxification interventions, Able to provide a range of healthcare interventions, including venepuncture and vaccinations, Has experience of administering long acting injectable Buprenorphine and carrying out Fibroscans, Has knowledge of the physical, psychological and social effects of substance use and addiction and appropriate interventions
