Adaptive Designer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Adaptive Designer to join a talented team of designers, adaptive artworkers, and client service professionals, working on high-profile packaging and branding projects for leading consumer brands. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong creative design sensibilities with technical artwork expertise. You'll play a pivotal role in translating creative concepts into scalable adaptive solutions across multiple packaging formats, product ranges, and print processes. In addition to delivering high-quality adaptive design work, you'll help shape workflows, mentor team members, and collaborate closely with senior creative leadership to ensure excellence across every project.,

• Establish the foundations for adaptive rollouts, enabling the wider team to implement design intent consistently and effectively.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of brand principles, client expectations, and commercial objectives.
• Lead range reviews, create brand guidelines, and develop cheat sheets to support clear and consistent adaptive execution.
• Review and challenge briefs constructively, proposing practical and effective adaptive solutions where appropriate.
• Adapt approved creative concepts across multiple packaging formats, product ranges, and print production requirements.
• Ensure exceptional attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy across all adaptive outputs.
• Provide guidance and solutions for design and brand-related queries from both internal teams and clients.
• Prepare client-facing presentation materials and decks as required.
• Manage the rollout of brand updates and maintain guidelines to reflect evolving requirements.
• Act as the go-to expert for adaptive design processes, supporting both colleagues and clients.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, helping to build technical expertise and adaptive design capabilities.
• Partner closely with the Design Director to ensure adaptive delivery aligns with the overall creative vision.
• Stay up to date with developments in packaging design, print production, and adaptive design best practices.
• Contribute positively to team discussions, creative initiatives, and the agency's collaborative culture.
  
  Proven experience in adaptive design, artwork, or packaging design within a branding or creative agency environment.
• Strong knowledge of packaging formats, print processes, and technical production requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt creative design concepts consistently across multiple SKUs, formats, and product ranges.
• Excellent typography, layout, and visualisation skills.
• Experience creating and maintaining brand guidelines, range reviews, and adaptive support documentation.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance creative quality and operational efficiency.
• Effective problem-solving skills with confidence to challenge briefs and recommend practical alternatives.
• Experience preparing professional client-facing presentations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate adaptive design decisions.
• Previous experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting other team members.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Awareness of emerging adaptive technologies, workflow improvements, and industry best practices.
