We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Activities Instructor to join our team at one of Darwin Escapes' beautiful holiday destinations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, loves the outdoors, and is passionate about delivering fun and engaging experiences for guests of all ages. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a variety of activities, helping to create memorable moments for our guests. This is a hands-on and interactive role, ideal for someone who is confident, approachable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a permanent, full-time position working variable days, including weekends and bank holidays. About the Park: In the beautiful Cornish countryside just a short drive from the coastal town of Newquay. With wide-open meadows and charming woodland surrounds, it's an ideal place to unwind, enjoy nature, and take in the peaceful rural setting. The retreat offers stylish lodges with modern interiors, private outdoor spaces, and hot tubs, along with on-site amenities including a café, play areas, and activity zones. With nearby beaches, scenic walks, and vibrant local attractions, Piran Meadows is the perfect destination for a relaxing and refreshing getaway.,

  • Plan and deliver a range of activities for guests, including children, families, and adults
  • Lead both indoor and outdoor activities such as sports, games, and creative sessions
  • Ensure all activities are delivered in a safe, fun, and engaging manner
  • Set up and prepare activity areas, equipment, and materials
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact positively with guests
  • Supervise participants and ensure health & safety guidelines are followed at all times
  • Maintain activity equipment and report any issues or damages
  • Promote activities and encourage guest participation
  • Work closely with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience, This is a permanent role requiring flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays in line with business needs.
  • The role involves working both indoors and outdoors and may require periods of standing, activity setup, and supervising groups for extended periods.,

  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with children and/or groups is desirable
  • A confident and outgoing personality with strong communication skills
  • Ability to engage and entertain guests of all ages
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. sports coaching, childcare, or first aid) are desirable but not essential, Will be required to have or obtain an RLSS NPLQ
