Summary

Were Looking for Someone Who Has We are looking for an enthusiastic and academically strong candidate who can bring creativity, structure and compassion to the role. Experience and/or a genuine passion for working in healthcare, mental health, neurorehabilitation, acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, learning disability services or social care. Some knowledge or understanding of Occupational Therapy. A creative flair and the ability to plan engaging, meaningful activities. The confidence to work as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Strong communication and organisation skills. A positive, patient and flexible approach. An interest in supporting people with complex needs and behaviours that may challenge. An awareness of recovery approaches, social inclusion and person-centred care, which is desirable. This role may suit someone with experience as an Activity Co-ordinator, Activities Coordinator, Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, Mental Health Support Worker, Activities Worker or Social Care Worker.
