Full Job Description
- Plan, organise and deliver a variety of engaging activates and social events for residents
- Utilise the resources and computer to plan and inform families on resident activities
- Play a key role within our care team by delivering a lively, diverse programme of activities designed to stimulate, entertain and uplift our residents.
- Use your communication skills, creativity and warm personality to build meaningful connections and create moments that truly enrich residents' lives.
- Bring enthusiasm, compassion and a positive energy to every day, helping to create a joyful and supportive atmosphere throughout the home.
- Use your IT skills to produce newsletters for residents and the home, send email updates to relatives about activities and resident progress, and keep our social media pages-such as Facebook-updated and engaging.
Experience in a similar role is preferred. We provide full, high quality training and ongoing support. - You will be able to undertake all aspects of caring for older people with compassion and respect in order to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
- Our staff have access to first class induction training and ongoing learning and development opportunities including the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications.
- Our Homes operate on a 24/7, 365-day basis therefore you will need to be able to work shifts (including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays).
- You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.
- Must have good computer skills and organisational skills, An Overseas Police Check/ Certificate of Good Conduct may be required if you have lived or worked outside the UK for 12 Months or more, spent a significant period overseas, or worked abroad in a position of trust. This will be in addition to a mandatory Enhanced DBS check.
