Full Job Description
The Activities Lead Living Well Team will lead the development and delivery of engaging, person-centred activities and wellbeing programmes across our care home services. Working closely with residents, families, colleagues, volunteers, and community partners, the postholder will ensure a varied and meaningful programme of activities that promotes independence, wellbeing, social connection, and quality of life. The role involves leading and supporting the Living Well Team, developing innovative activities and events, managing resources, and ensuring activities are tailored to residents' individual interests, abilities, and aspirations. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate individual to make a significant difference to the daily lives of older people living in our care homes., We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Activities Lead to manage and develop our Living Well programme across our care homes. You will lead a team responsible for delivering engaging activities, events, outings, and wellbeing initiatives that support residents' physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing. The role includes developing person-centred activity plans, managing volunteers and resources, building relationships with community organisations, and ensuring activities reflect residents' interests and preferences. The successful candidate will have experience leading activities or wellbeing programmes, strong organisational skills, and a passion for enhancing the lives of older people through meaningful engagement and community connection
