Full Job Description

The Activities Facilitator will play an important role within the Living Well Team at the Betty and Asher Loftus Centre, supporting residents across residential, nursing and dementia care to enjoy meaningful, engaging and enjoyable experiences. Working 40 hours per week, the postholder will plan, organise and facilitate a varied programme of group and individual activities, adapting sessions to different interests, abilities and needs. The role includes organising outings, celebrations and special events, supporting activities that celebrate Jewish life, culture, traditions and festivals, and helping residents remain connected to each other and the wider community. You will build positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues, volunteers, artists, performers and community organisations, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring activities are delivered safely and in line with Jewish Care policies, We are looking for a creative, energetic and compassionate Activities Facilitator to join our Living Well Team at the Betty and Asher Loftus Centre. You will help create a vibrant and inclusive community where residents can enjoy meaningful activities, develop relationships and maintain a sense of purpose and wellbeing. From creative and recreational sessions to cultural activities, outings, celebrations and Jewish festivals, you will develop a programme that reflects residents interests, abilities and individual needs. Working closely with residents, families, care teams, volunteers and community partners, you will bring new ideas and opportunities to everyday life. This is a rewarding role for someone who is imaginative, organised and passionate about helping people enjoy life to the full.
