Activities Coordinator - Retirement Living (Part Time)

The Activities Coordinator Retirement Living will play a key role in enhancing the wellbeing, independence, and quality of life of tenants living within our Retirement Living Service. Working closely with tenants, families, volunteers, and colleagues, the postholder will plan, coordinate, and deliver a varied programme of social, recreational, cultural, educational, and wellbeing activities that promote engagement, inclusion, and community connection. The role focuses on creating meaningful opportunities for older people to remain active, maintain independence, and enjoy fulfilling social lives within a vibrant Jewish community environment, We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and organised Activities Coordinator to join our Retirement Living team. You will develop and deliver a diverse programme of activities, events, outings, and celebrations that reflect the interests, abilities, and cultural needs of our tenants. Working collaboratively with tenants, families, volunteers, and community organisations, you will support social inclusion, wellbeing, and meaningful engagement while encouraging participation and fostering a strong sense of community. The role includes activity planning, volunteer coordination, risk assessments, communications, and evaluating the success of programmes to ensure a high-quality experience for all participants.
