Full Job Description
Activities Co-ordinator - 17 hours - 3 days (6 hours/day) weekends included, Plan and oversee varied and engaging activities for the residents. Develop a rapport with residents to support them throughout the day. Develop relationships with relatives to help better support and understand residents. Plan and organise events for different holidays. Arrange trips and excursions for the residents. Guarantee that risk assessments are carried out on the activities inside and outside of the home. Understand and record the life histories of residents. What we are looking for: Someone who can deliver a level of care that truly comes from the heart, making sure our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality as you get involved in general activities within the care home. And, whether you are helping someone with limited mobility to learn to use an aid, offering emotional support to a confused or distressed resident or delivering care to someone at the end of their life, you will always have their well-being in mind above anything else.
You will need to be: A team player who engages well with others. Strong communicator and influencer. Energetic and hard-working. Adaptable to change. Passionate about offering superior services and want to make a difference. A glass half full person, with a sense of humour and a positive outlook.

Competitive base salary. Refer a Friend scheme - £250 (Nurses); £150 (all other roles). Enhancements of up to 1.5x salary for some bank holidays.
