- Build Strong Connections: Take time to get to know each resident, building trust and understanding to ensure their individual preferences and care needs are met.
- Encourage Social Engagement: Facilitate group activities and social events that promote interaction and enjoyment for all residents, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere.
- Promote Wellbeing: Help residents maintain their hobbies and explore new interests, enriching their quality of life.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities and resident participation to track engagement and outcomes.
Specialised Dementia Experience: Knowledge of dementia care and experience in supporting residents with varying levels of cognitive abilities. - Event Planning Expertise: Proven ability to create and manage a diverse range of engaging activities and events.
- Empathy and Creativity: A friendly, compassionate, and imaginative personality that shines through in your interactions with residents.
- Teamwork and Communication: Strong organisational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and the wider care team.
- Passion for Elderly Care: A genuine enthusiasm for enhancing the lives of older people, especially those living with dementia.
Our care home is part of the Care Concern Group, a family-owned care group operating close to 80 homes across the UK.
