Activities Coordinator

· Creating activities - you will be in charge of designing an engaging activities plan both internally and with external resources.
· Event planning - our Activities Coordinators are involved with planning events such as summer BBQs or Christmas parties for our residents.
· Resident interaction - you will always be in conversation with residents to see which activities they want to do and bringing them to fruition.
· External communications - as an Activities Coordinator you will be speaking with external entertainers or businesses to organise visits from entertainers or arranging for visits to businesses for the residents.
· Mobility -

supporting the client to live as

independently

as possible with their mobility through activities such as Zumba or ballroom or even things like balloon tennis .
· Social activities- trips out, social engagements and activities within the home for all abilities.
· Team

support - helping new or existing colleagues through shadowing and teamwork, and

supporting

the smooth running of the home when required

· A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK, please note: Under new guidance we are unable to accept skilled or student visas
· Caring, positive, and reliable individuals
· Previous care home/activities experience required
