A day in the life of an Activities Coordinator

• Companionship - providing support, companionship, communication and engagement with residents


• Creating activities - you will be in charge of designing an engaging activities plan both internally and with external resources

Main duties of the job

The Activities Coordinator position at Bosworth Care Home is a vital role that involves planning and implementing engaging activities for residents. This position requires compassion, reliability, and a drive to make a difference in the lives of others. Activities Coordinators are responsible for providing companionship and interaction with the residents, creating activity plans, organizing events, and working with external resources to enhance the quality of life for those living in the home. The role also involves encouraging residents' independence through activities that promote mobility and social engagement. Candidates are expected to be part of a supportive team, contributing to a friendly and welcoming environment for both staff and residents. Previous care home or activities experience is required, as well as a minimum of 12 months remaining on the right to work in the UK. This position offers various benefits, including ongoing training, a pension scheme, and competitive pay.
