Activities Coordinator

The Activities Coordinator position at Agincare Homes Holdings is based in Bosworth Care Home, Weymouth. This permanent role involves working 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday at a pay rate of £12.85 per hour. The job entails designing and managing activities plans for residents, organising events, interacting with residents to develop preferred activities, and coordinating with external resources for activities. Bosworth Care Home, under new management, offers a welcoming and supportive working environment, emphasizing a warm, homely atmosphere for residents., Activities Coordinator - 30 hours per week - Monday to Friday - Bosworth Care Home, Weymouth, Companionship- providing support, companionship, communication and engagement with residents Creating activities - you will be in charge of designing an engaging activities plan both internally and with external resources. Event planning our Activities Coordinators are involved with planning events such as summer BBQs or Christmas parties for our residents. Resident interaction you will always be in conversation with residents to see which activities they want to do and bringing them to fruition. External communications as an Activities Coordinator you will be speaking with external entertainers or businesses to organise visits from entertainers or arranging for visits to businesses for the residents. Mobility - supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility through activities such as Zumba or ballroom or even things like balloon tennis. Social activities- trips out, social engagements and activities within the home for all abilities.
