Full Job Description

We're looking for someone who loves being outdoors and engaging with people. Our Active Outdoors Assistant role is all about giving people a warm welcome while delivering a varied offer of activities for our Summer of Play programme across the six weeks of the school summer holidays. You'll play a key part in making sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable experience.

    Salary: 13.25 per hour Contract Duration: Fixed term until 6th September 2026 Contract Type: This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can't guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We'll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts. Working Pattern: Although not guaranteed, typically five days of work will be available per week (approximately 30 hours), supporting the delivery of activities. These hours may be shared between one or more people, depending on availability. This will include some weekend and Bank Holiday working.
