This role supports the successful delivery of the UK&I 2028 Tournament by ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and execution of accreditation operations. The role contributes through a collaborative, service-oriented, and detail-focused approach, while consistently demonstrating our organisational values: Embrace the Opportunity, Achieve Excellence, and Thrive Together. What you'll be doing

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of accreditation operations across all venues, ensuring services are delivered consistently, meet operational requirements and in line with agreed timelines.
  • Lead the implementation and management of background screening according to the agreed parameters and service levels with the local authorities.
  • Build, engage and support the Accreditation Operations team, starting with the hiring of the two direct reports in 2027 and then the venue-based team in 2028. Ensuring they perform at their best in a high-pressure delivery environment.
  • Manage and support the Accreditation Operations team, setting clear objectives, providing guidance, resolving operational challenges and fostering a high-performing and inclusive team culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, venue stakeholders, security partners, and external suppliers to support effective programme delivery.
  • Track operational performance, identify opportunities for process improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, compliance, and stakeholder experience.
  • Adapt to changing organisational and event needs, taking on additional responsibilities as required to support the successful delivery of the accreditation programme.
  • Prioritise and coordinate day-to-day activities across accreditation and background screening operations to ensure all deliverables are completed to a high professional standard.

    Exposure to working in Accreditation; experience leading operational functions, programmes, or workstreams within large-scale events, security, public sector, or similarly complex environments.
  • Experience managing and developing teams to deliver high-quality operational outcomes.
  • Knowledge of accreditation, credentialing or related operational processes.
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of data protection, confidentiality, compliance, and information security requirements.
  • Experience delivering operational services.
  • Technical Skills
  • Strong operational planning, coordination, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to analyse data, produce reports, and use insights to support decision-making.
  • Experience using operational database systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
