Introduction
You will develop essential financial, administrative and organisational skills while supporting the day-to-day activities of our finance function. You will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced colleagues and supporting a range of financial processes that help the organisation operate effectively.

What You'll Do
As an Accounts Apprentice, you will:
- Process invoices, purchase orders and financial documents accurately.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
- Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting systems.
- Support with bank reconciliations and general ledger tasks.
- Assist with preparing financial reports and spreadsheets.
- Process payments and monitor outstanding balances where required.
- Maintain organised electronic and paper-based filing systems.
- Respond to finance-related queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Support month-end processes and other routine finance activities.
- Ensure financial information is handled confidentially and in line with company policies and procedures.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.
Training Outcome
Upon successful completion of the level 2 accounts/finance apprenticeship you will have achieved a national qualification which is recognised through the industry and there may be the opportunity to progress to the level 3 qualification.
