Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-orientated Key Accounts Coordinator to join our team in Northampton. If you have a passion for customer service and would be keen to add value to an innovative and growing logistics operation - this may be the role for you! As a Key Accounts Coordinator, you will deliver a high-quality Ocean Freight destination management service to the Key Account customers. You will maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams, while developing specialist industry knowledge to support operational excellence. You will ensure consistent, right-first-time service delivery and accurate operational execution, while maintaining excellent customer experience by meeting agreed service level targets and driving continuous performance improvements.,

  • Coordinate, schedule, book, and manage daily UK import container movements on behalf of Supply Chain Management Service clients.
  • Handle all daily operational tasks and client enquiries accurately and courteously.
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of customer experience across all interactions.
  • Create, maintain and update Excel worksheets documenting all daily container movements.
  • Ensure all operational data is accurate and that service standards are consistently upheld.
  • Adhere to established deadlines and follow Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
  • Complete all departmental administrative tasks within agreed timescales.
  • Prepare KPI reports.
  • Monitor and control all service costs.

    Proven experience working in an administration and / or customer service role.
  • Some previous experience in freight forwarding, supply chain, or logistics environments is desirable, but not essential (training will be provided).
  • Highly organised, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office systems, including Excel.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive and flexible approach, with good problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Financial / commercial awareness.

    This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position, with potential to go permanent, offering a salary of £27,000 - £29,000 (depending on experience). This role will be based at our Northampton GP3 site (NN4 5FB) and includes up to 3 remote working days per week, subject to business requirements. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm with a 1 hour break., 25 days' holiday (excluding bank holidays) and 5 days Volunteer Leave per year
