This role would suit someone with solid, hands-on accounts experience who can hit the ground running and quickly get to grips with our processes. Working closely with the Accounts Manager, you'll support sales, purchase and general ledger transactions - from fee collection and supplier invoicing to month-end reconciliations and budget reporting. About You

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with parents and suppliers
- Able to work reliably and independently from day one
- GCSE-level education (or equivalent); AAT Level 2 or bookkeeping qualification desirable

Previous experience in a school finance team, credit control, or monthly reconciliations would be an advantage, but a genuine willingness to learn new processes and systems is just as important to us. Why Join Us As a member of our Finance team, you'll be part of a friendly, supportive department at the heart of the School, gaining valuable experience in a varied and rewarding role. Full job description and person specification attached. Safer Recruitment: Oakham is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
