ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - WIGAN - PERMANENT - £28.5K An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in the Wigan area. The company are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Head Office. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven finance candidate who is looking to further develop their skills within a supportive and fast-paced environment. Key duties will include:

• Processing purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner Performing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies Supporting credit control activities, including chasing outstanding payments Maintaining financial records using Sage 200 Assisting with bank reconciliations and general ledger postings Handling queries from suppliers and customers Ensuring compliance with company procedures and financial controls Hours of work:
Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm (30 mins lunch break) Our client is keen to seek an organised and detail-oriented individual with strong numerical skills and previous accounts experience. Sage 200 experience is essential and experience with supplier bonding would be an advantage.
