As an Accounts Assistant based in Ripon you'll be responsible for:

• Ensuring all required month end inputs are processed accurately and in line with the month end timetable
• Supporting the team in identifying and highlighting risks and opportunities and communicating this to management on a timely basis
• Responding effectively to information requests from the business and responding to queries from branches on their branch accounts
• Preparation of management accounting and financial reporting within agreed deadlines
  
  Previous finance experience or a finance degree
• A keen interest in finance with a willingness to learn and develop
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables and lookups, is desirable
• Ability to manipulate data and work with large complex data sets
