Accountant - R2R

Experteer Overview In this role you support the Global Record to Report function to ensure accurate financial control, accounting and reporting. You'll collaborate with Finance Hub and business partners to drive timely month-end close, compliant reporting and continuous process improvements. You'll uphold robust controls while coordinating across functions and audits, delivering on SLAs and KPIs. • Ensure accurate and timely financial control, accounting and reporting in line with policies Support month-end reporting and deliver against SLAs and KPIs Drive best practices and efficiency improvements using Visual Management tools Maintain strong financial controls and timely delivery of tasks Build and maintain relationships with Finance Hub and business stakeholders Assist with indirect tax, local tax and ad hoc statistical reporting Liaise with internal and external audit teams Identify and implement process improvements within the R2R team Coordinate month-end close activities across multiple functions Proactively drive activities to successful completion Tasks Experience in a shared services environment Finalist/newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Experience with Month End close processes Experience with process improvements and standardising finance processes Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders Proactive, flexible, and able to work in a changing environment Strong communication to coordinate month end across functions Attention to detail and ability to obtain supporting evidence Coordination with divisional finance to resolve issues Confidence to challenge senior stakeholders on change, process and policies Key requirements Merlin Magic Pass 28 days holiday including bank holidays Company bonus Private pension scheme 40% LEGO discount 25% discount in onsite shops and restaurants
