Full Job Description

  • Drive business performance through insight of daily and weekly performance, focussing on key KPI's and metrics to highlight opportunities.
  • Support operations team to drive efficiencies and cost savings across the factory.
  • Provide key support to the site operations teams with commercial insight.
  • Accurate product costings for new business to drive growth across the group
  • Working with the centralised reporting team on the preparation of accurate site weekly & monthly accounts.
  • Implement Cost Control measures and identify opportunities for cost optimisation across the manufacturing processes
  • Working with our sourcing teams to drive margin growth
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels and ensure accuracy of the values.
  • Support production of budgets and forecasts.
  • Play a vital role in the wider Produce Manufacturing Finance team to drive growth.

    We are recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join our Manufacturing Finance team to support our Produce site in Gadbrook, Cheshire. We are looking for a driven individual with the ability to Finance Business partner the Gadbrook site leadership team.This is a site based role sitting within the site leadership team., Proven experience as an accountant within manufacturing is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast -paced environment
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Hold a relevant finance qualification CIMA/ACCA

The site packs between 800k and 900k packs a week with annual sales in excess of c£50m. As Myton continues to grow with new customers it is pivotal that the finance team support this.
