These provide a comprehensive set of solutions to meet the challenges of an evolving healthcare environment. The Territory Manager for Urology homecare will be looking at the long-term strategy for the Northeast region. This important role will be pivotal in driving sales on our focus product range, creating and executing the associated tactical plans needed to increase awareness and uptake of Teleflex Urology products across the Northeast Region with a focus on Intermittent Catheters, and bladder management products. 80/20 focus split The Northeast territory would cover the following ICB's South Yorkshire and Bassett Law, Humber Coast and Vale, Northeast and North Cumbria, West Yorkshire and Harrogate.Your key customers will be acute and community KOL's including but not limited to Urology Nurses in the Acute setting, Continence Specialist Nurses, Neuro, Spinal and Rehabilitation nurses, and district nursing teams and meds management to name a few call points. This role would suit an experienced sales professional who has a proven track record in the premotion of ISC catheters into the Community and Acute settings, or someone who has worked in the Urology environment within the NHS and is looking to break into medical sales. Whilst full training is given on the products, this role would suit an individual who thrives from autonomy is ambitious and resilient, will go the extra mile and will achieve great results Principal Responsibilities
- Achieve increased sales and market share in our focus product range Intermittent catheters and Bladder management.
- Build strategies to leverage data which will form part of the short-/ medium- & long-term strategic plan for NE region
- Identifying and road map new profitable business opportunities
- Maintain and defend sales within territory
- Ensure availability of expert level knowledge in the use of products
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and KOLs within the region
- Developing sales and commercial strategies to drive yearly revenue growth for the NE area
- Understand and track market trends, market size, customer segments, competing companies and emerging new technologies
- Maintain a good awareness of competitor activity within the industry and territory, anticipating issues and opportunities, responding in a timely manner as required
- Winning, managing, and implementing formularies
- Presenting business cases to the NHS around cost/savings.
- Develop and maintain regular reviews using activity metrics, sales and market data and other available resources to enhance visibility of the business performance and to make appropriate strategic and tactical decisions
- Provide monthly forecasts for the defined area
- Partner closely with the National Sales Manager, Sales team, and Marketing team to identify and prioritize customers for higher-level corporate relationships
- Coordinate cross- functional partners, including but not limited to Marcom, R&D, CMA, and operations
BA in Business (or related discipline) or equivalent work experience, or related practical - Minimum of 1 year of related experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals
- Knowledge of the field of urology and urology products, and strong relationships with local urology nurse specialist and continence advisors is preferred
- Understanding of Urology products, their use environments, and audiences
- Proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment from concept through development, review and timely implementation required
- Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team is essential to the role
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong track record of over-delivering revenue versus sales plan
- Excellent oral / written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent negotiating skills, ability to adapt to changing work priorities, and ability to maintain good working relationships
- Strong analytical capabilities to continuously refine business plans and sales techniques to achieve maximum performance
- Proficiency in PC-based office applications including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

- Individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to read, analyse, and interpret engineering specifications, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, specifications, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in English.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
- Ability to convey project accomplishments, obstacles, issues, and project status clearly and concisely.
- Valiriver's license Max 6 points (driving offences held on the licence will need to be declared at 1st interview stage)
- Travel outside of the UK <20%
