Full Job Description
This is a varied, client-facing position combining account management, relationship development, and new business activity. You will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met while delivering exceptional service and identifying opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial and mid-market clients
- Act as the primary point of contact, building strong, long-term relationships
- Understand client requirements and ensure appropriate insurance solutions are delivered
- Support and contribute to new business opportunities and growth initiatives
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience
- Build and maintain relationships with insurer partners
- Contribute to the development of affinity partnerships and commercial propositions
- Provide input into operational improvements and efficiencies
- Act as a point of escalation for technical or operational queries, Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required
- Role may involve travel to meet clients and partners
- Subject to standard background checks
Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial insurance - Proven experience managing a portfolio/book of business
- Strong sales and relationship management skills
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work on your own initiative
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Acturis experience desirable) Skills & Attributes
- Results-driven with a positive, professional attitude
- Strong business acumen and attention to detail
- Reliable, organised, and accountable
- A collaborative team player with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
