  • Job Purpose Do you believe digital experiences should be inclusive for everyone? Join us to make it happen. We're looking for an Accessibility lead to join our growing Digital team at Primark. In this pivotal role, you'll help embed accessibility best practices into how we design, build, and maintain our digital platforms. As we scale our digital offering across global markets, this role will ensure that all users-regardless of ability-can access and enjoy our products and services. You'll work cross-functionally with product, design, engineering, and legal teams, as well as external partners, to ensure accessibility is considered at every stage of the product lifecycle. If you're passionate about inclusive design and ready to drive real change in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, this could be your next big step. Key Responsibilities Advocate for Accessibility: Champion accessible design and development practices across digital product and business teams through education, collaboration, and guidance. Collaborate with Accessibility Partners: Manage the relationship with our external accessibility partner, supporting audit processes and translating findings into action. Monitor Digital Platforms: Track and evaluate accessibility performance across our web and mobile platforms, ensuring issues are identified and addressed promptly. Work with Legal: Partner with our Legal team to keep accessibility statements accurate and compliant with relevant standards and regulations. Create and Lead a Champions Programme: Design and implement an internal Accessibility Champions initiative-training and empowering cross-functional team members to uphold accessibility in their everyday work. Knowledge & Experience Required:
  • 3+ years' experience in a digital product environment (e.g., UX, development, QA, or content), with a strong focus or interest in accessibility.
  • Good understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA, EN 301 549).
  • Familiarity with common accessibility testing tools (e.g., axe, Lighthouse, NVDA, VoiceOver).
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; confident advocating for inclusive practices.
  • Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented with a passion for equitable user experiences.
  • Experience with event-driven microservice architectures/platforms an advantage.
