Full Job Description
If so, we're looking for an Access & Identity Management (AIM) Analyst to join our Application Support team within Technology and you'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre head office in Coventry. This role will act as a security guardian to our IS systems, using attention to detail to ensure the correct access is enabled, assuring removal of access is timely and meets audit requirements placed on the business. You'll undertake tasks within SAP Security relating to ticket resolution and management, including role maintenance activities, adherence with segregation of duties requirements, and supporting the current user access design for SAP & Click. Working within a fast paced environment, you'll use your prioritisation skills and collaborative working capabilities to ensure you approach tasks effectively, efficiently and with a 'right first time' mindset. Your key accountabilities in helping us will be:
- Control access to all companywide IS Systems in line with the security policy
- Enable and remove access to specific IS systems through controlled and auditable process and procedure, which will include appropriate authorisation and approval
- Respond to and resolve incidents raised relating to System Security Access issues
- Own all reporting requirements to satisfy both internal governance requirements for user access and external requirements (e.g. audits) and escalate security issues observed within working practices
- Analyse trends and validate all information, taking any corrective action necessary to keep the Severn Trent Water estate secure as per the security policy
- Manage all day to day activities carried out regarding user access/revocation of access, constantly seeking ways to increase effectiveness and efficiency whilst maintaining appropriate and secure levels of access
- Investigation of SAP Security incidents and problems to resolution, ensuring root cause analysis undertaken where applicable You'll work within our dedicated Access and Identity Management team. With this being such a critical role, we're looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, working Monday to Friday. The right skills and experience are important. But if you have the right character, positivity and a caring attitude we want to talk to you, too. Having system experience with one or more of the following would be advantageous - Service Now, Target, SAP and/or CMP. You'll need good communication and customer service skills in this role as you'll be dealing with various stakeholders in relation to access/deletion requests. You'll be determining what access is required, so will need to be curious and at times cautious, to ensure the correct access is issued and in line with security procedures.
