Full Job Description
The Academy Operations Manager will work closely with the Academy Manager to ensure the effective logistical running of the Academy. To role is also responsible for managing effective and efficient operational support to the Academy. Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Management of Scheduling, Matchday Events, Festivals, Tours
- Transport and Logistics
- Academy Operational Policies and Procedures
- Support the Academy Manager and Head of Football Development with planning, scheduling and administration of the Academy
- Manage and oversee the Academy calendars for scheduling purposes, liaising with internal and external stakeholders with support of the Academy Operations Assistant.
- Manage and oversee Academy matchday events alongside the Academy Manager and Academy Games Programme Co-ordinator .
- To further support the Academy Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the Academy.
- Conduct weekly Academy Operations meetings to ensure the week runs smoothly.
- Ensure due diligence is done on all tours (International and Domestic).
- Ensure there are open channels of communication between all departments within the Academy.
- Any other duties appropriate to the skills and experience of the position holder as deemed necessary.

This is an excellent role for someone who is a strong leader with excellent organisational and logistical skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure while delivering the needs of a Catergorie 1 Academy., This is an excellent role for someone equipped with excellent organisational and people management skills., Ability to manage a team. - Highly computer literate (with excellent abilities on Word, Excel and ideally database knowledge and application).
- Ability to create and maintain accurate/accessible and organised documentation.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who places high value on attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse data and information.
- Ability to work independently and with internal and external teams.
