Time Investment: 3 committee meetings per year, with additional time required to read and review meeting papers. Also participate in annual school visits, max 2-3 requests per year.. We welcome applications from people with a range of backgrounds and experiences. You do not need previous governance experience as full induction and training will be provided. We're particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate:

Lydiate Learning Trust is seeking a dedicated volunteer to join the Academy Governance Committee at Childwall Sports and Science Academy. This is an opportunity to support school leaders, champion high standards and help ensure every child receives the best possible education. As an Academy Governor, you will work with fellow committee members and school leaders to provide support and challenge, monitor school performance, champion high standards and help ensure that every pupil receives the best possible educational experience.
