About the Employer

We are a friendly Yorkshire firm of Chartered Accountants who offer accountancy and business advice services to owner managed and family owned businesses. We have over 95 years of experience in looking after a range of businesses from small start-ups through to medium-sized companies.

What You'll Do

• Preparation of unincorporated accounts
• Preparation of company accounts
• Reconcile and agree bank
• Analyse bank receipts and payment
• Review and prepare schedules for debtors, creditors, directors loan
• Prepare fixed assets, including depreciation
• Analyse key profit and loss data
• Bookkeeping
• Preparing VAT returns for manager review
• Filing VAT returns (Xero & One Click)
• Preparation of company corporation tax returns to draft stage

Training Outcome

Successful apprentices will have the opportunity to progress within the firm, continue their professional studies and develop into a qualified accountant with increasing client responsibility.

• Essential - GCSE - English - 5 or above
