Parcelforce Delivery Positions available within your area 

Pertemps is currently recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers to work on behalf of Parcelforce Worldwide in the Leicester area. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for ongoing work with a well-known national delivery company.

If you have a passion for customer service and enjoy working independently outdoors, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Information

  • Location: Leicester

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Contract Type: Temporary

  • Pay Rate: £16.43 per hour

  • Hours: Up to 35 hours a week

  •  Schedule: Monday to Friday

  • Shift Times: 10am - 6pm

 

Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) with no more than 6 points.

  • Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle essential.

  • Good knowledge of York and surrounding areas.

  • Physically fit with ability to lift parcels up to 20kg.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

  • Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check.

  • You will also need to provide a Valid Tachograph card.

 

As a 7.5 Tonne delivery driver, you’re expected to securely manage all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
