3PL Contract Manager

pivotal role responsible for managing our relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring service levels, costs, and contractual obligations are met while driving continuous improvement across our fulfilment network. You'll currently oversee a network of 1 international and 3 UK 3PL partners, with the network set to grow further as we expand into the EU and US markets - making this a key role in shaping our logistics footprint through a period of active growth. You'll act as the key point of contact between our business and external logistics partners, balancing commercial negotiation with day-to-day operational oversight to keep goods moving efficiently, on time, and within budget.ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage contracts with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring terms are commercially sound and operationally deliverableMonitor 3PL performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs (e.g. on-time delivery, cost-per-unit, inventory accuracy), driving corrective
action where neededLead contract negotiations, renewals, and renegotiations to secure favourable commercial termsAct as the primary escalation point for operational or service issues with logistics partnersWork closely with the Warehouse and Fulfilment teams to align 3PL activity with internal operationsIdentify and implement cost-saving and efficiency initiatives across the logistics networkSupport the onboarding of new 3PL partners as we expand into the EU and US, including due diligence and tender processesProduce regular reporting on 3PL performance, costs, and risk for senior leadershipEnsure compliance with relevant regulatory, health & safety, and contractual requirementsTravel regularly to 3PL partner sites across the UK and internationally to maintain strong operational oversightQualificationsAt least 5 years' experience managing 3PL contracts and relationships, ideally across multiple sitesRequired SkillsStrong commercial and negotiation skills, with a track record of managing
