Full Job Description
To act as a team leader for the 2nd line service desk team reporting to the IT Services Manager. Key responsibilities are the day to day management of the 2nd line team proactively planning to ensure that the service desk continues to meet expected SLAs. This role will work closely with the 1st line team leader to identify trends, common issues and peak periods to ensure the service desk is resourced appropriately at all times.
The IT Service Desk operates a shift system to provide cover between 8am and 17:30pm. However out of hours support maybe required including weekends. This role does require travel to our satellite offices on a regular basis and overnight stays
