We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 2iC (Second-in-Charge) Maths Teacher to join our Mathematics Department, focusing on A Level students in Further Education. Position: 2iC Maths Teacher (KS5) Department: Mathematics Curriculum: A Level Education Stage: Further Education Position Type: Teacher Experience Required: No previous experience required Role Overview: As the 2iC Maths Teacher, you will support the Head of Department in delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences for our KS5 students studying Advanced Level Mathematics. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership skills within a supportive environment while contributing to student success. Purpose of Role:

• Work with the Head of Faculty to take responsibility for leading developments in the faculty for KS5
• Ensure that others within the faculty are kept aware of developments within KS5
• Track the progress of students and staff across KS5 and focus on raising achievement in the subject area
• Be familiar with the role of the Head of Faculty and deputise during any absence of the Head of Faculty
• Be responsible for the cover work in the absence of staff
• Set examinations and provide mark schemes for school and faculty-based exams in KS5
• Assist the Head of Faculty in dealing with behavioural issues across KS5
• Work with the Head of Faculty in writing the Faculty Development Plan and negotiate annually
• Run/assist the Head of Faculty with Faculty meetings and lead professional development of colleagues.
