2027 Summer Internship - Corporate Banking

As a Corporate Banking Summer Analyst, you will be exposed to a wide variety of clients, sectors, financial services and products, and work with various integrated teams that will provide you with the necessary skills to develop, grow and thrive in Investment Banking., The internship will begin with one week of formal training for all London TD summer analysts that includes orientation and interactive technical training. This training is designed to teach you the building blocks of financial institutions, Excel, and PowerPoint, which will prepare you for the next nine weeks of the internship. Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to engage with bankers at all levels across all teams. Summer Analysts will also be able to participate in social networking events with one-another as well as colleagues across all divisions on an on-going basis to experience our culture and integrate with our Firm. How you will contribute:

• Collaborate closely with professionals across various sectors, gaining exposure to the strategies, products, and services that drive our business.
• Be exposed to client requests, analyse market trends, and contribute to key strategic initiatives that will help shape the future of TD's Corporate Banking division.
• Work at the intersection of several key functions, including relationship management, credit risk, and financial analysis.
  
  Pursuing a bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Interest in studying towards CFA, ACT or an accounting designation is considered an asset.
• A genuine interest in corporate finance and the sectors TD covers
• Understanding of credit and wholesale banking products.
• Results driven, proven academic excellence and strong interpersonal skills
• Proactive and highly motivated.
• Strong planning, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong business and financial analytical skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

• Previous work experience in corporate finance or investment banking considered an asset
• Demonstrated leadership (i.e., sports, clubs, extracurricular activities, and philanthropy, etc.)
